Subscriptions

7.1

Auto-Renewable Subscriptions

Harper offers auto-renewable subscriptions. The subscription name, length, and price are disclosed in the app at the point of purchase and in your App Store receipt.

7.2

Billing

Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the then-current subscription price.

7.3

Managing and Cancelling

You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal by going to your Apple ID Account Settings after purchase. Cancellation of the current active subscription period is not permitted; turning off auto-renewal prevents future charges but does not refund the current period.

7.4

Refunds

Refund requests are handled by Apple pursuant to Apple's refund policy: support.apple.com/en-us/HT204084. We do not process refunds directly for App Store purchases.

7.5

Free Trials / Promotional Offers

If offered, any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. Promotional terms are disclosed at the point of purchase.

08

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms or for any behavior we deem harmful.

09

Disclaimers

  • Harper is provided “as is” and “as available.”
  • We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
10

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Harper.

11

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.

12

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a new effective date here.

13

Apple-Specific Terms

13.1

Relationship

These Terms are between you and Harper only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content.

13.2

Maintenance and Support

Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support services for the app.

13.3

Warranty

In the event of any failure of the app to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price for the app to you (if applicable). To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the app.

13.4

Product Claims

You and Harper acknowledge that Harper, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app or your possession and/or use of the app, including product liability claims, regulatory compliance, and intellectual property infringement.

13.5

Legal Compliance

You represent and warrant that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

13.6

Third-Party Beneficiary

Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and upon your acceptance, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
